  日本软银将从7月起向访日外国游客免费开放本公司的WiFi。访日游客可以在餐饮店、酒店和车站等日本全国约40万个地点免费使用软银的WiFi。目前,软银WiFi仅对本公司用户免费开放,其他通信公司的用户和外国人则需要支付费用。本次免费开放的对象为访日外国游客。
  访日游客可在有软银WiFi信号的地方使用本国手机获取密码。在输入手机号和密码之后,可在2周内不限流量使用无线网络。7月1日首先在东京圈开始提供该服务,到7月底将扩大至全日本。
  软银是日本拥有最多WiFi信号点的运营商。通过免费WiFi,软银将收集访日游客的使用数据,用于开发针对访日游客的服务等。
